How do you say, never lost a game all season? UNDEFEATED !!! Congratulations to the 2022 Field Hockey team for their Undefeated Season !!! We have been holding our breaths the last few games, hoping we would get another banner on the wall and the girls did it. We are so PROUD of them for a tremendous season. The entire team is absolutely incredible and our team spirit is second to none. All 33 girls contributed to this successful season and their hard work has paid off. It has been such a fun year, with great sportsmanship, teamwork and singing. You should hear them sing on the bus, they are really pretty good!!
Today in Varsity action, the Lady Bulldogs won 3-0 over a very physical Vernon team. Lilly Grisales got the scoring started with a beautiful unassisted goal in the second period. Lilly hustles all over the place and always gives 100%. The second goal was another really nice one where Rilee Bambara dribbled past a couple of defenders and fired it past the Vernon goalie. Rylee also had an assist on the third goal by making a nice pass to Lila Strehl who deflected it into the net. Brigid Collins once again had the shut-out again in the goal, way to go Brigid! The entire Varsity Team played awesome today, it was a total team effort. Congratulations Varsity: Siona Fredericks, Jocelyn Torres, Violet Baker, Avril Ferry, Ashley Schell, Claire Gushea, June Pecoriello, Madilyn Vance, Maliani Bello, Norma Kemmlein, Lilly Grisales, Rylee Bambara, Lila Strehl, Brigid Collins, Leah Klimas, Madeline Hough, Meadow Davis, Grace McEvoy, and Caitlin Miller.
The JV team lost a tough one today, 1-0 to Vernon but they dominated the second half with shot after shot on goal but came up short. The girls should be extremely proud of themselves since they had a great season getting better and improving with every game. Many of the JV girls will be stepping up to Varsity next year and are ready for the next level of play. We hope some of them will go to Field Hockey Camp next summer as well as participate in various leagues around the area to continue working on and improving their skills. Congratulations to the JV team on a great season: Victoria Burns, Ariel Rouzer, Alexa Pagano, Payton Macfie, McKaela Xirouchakis, Lilian Emma, Sofia Rizzo, Addison Yanoff, Leila Hatzinas, Joie, McQuade, Leigha Langenbach, Savanna Laver, Ava Kithcart and Darcy Burns (on injured reserve).
Best of luck to our 8th graders, we wish them the best of luck in High School next year. Thank you to our Captains: Jocelyn Torres, Avril Ferry, Violet Baker, Claire Gushea and June Pecoriello you were awesome this year !! Each and everyone of you has made a valuable contribution to our team and we will miss you next year.

We also greatly appreciate your thoughtful gift cards, both Coach Eckert and Coach Cacace will enjoy using them. It's been truly a special season and an honor to coach such terrific young ladies. Thanks for the memories !! Coach Eckert and Coach Cacace
First day of Yearbook Club and the members are already out and about making images!

The Varsity Field Hockey team continued to roll beating Sussex Wantage 6-0 today. The Lady Bulldogs were on fire scoring 3 quick goals within the first 5 minutes of the game. We had to pull the horses back and switch gears by having our defense play offense and our offense play defense. Leah Klimas was on fire today, playing with a level of intensity rarely seen before in Middle School. She opened up the scoring by following her first shot on goal and taking the rebound off the goalies pads and firing it home. She later assisted on another goal when she had a beautiful pass to Lilly Grisales who deflected it into the back of the net. Lilly had a second goal scoring off a perfect pass from Jocelyn Torres. Jocelyn also scored her first goal of the season when we pushed her up to forward from her link position. Jocelyn drilled home an unassisted goal for her first one of the season. Meadow Davis scored a pretty goal off a nice feed from June Pecoriello. Lila Strehl rounded out the scoring today with a terrific unassisted goal. Brigid Collins had the shut-out again in the goal, way to go Brigid !!! Excellent play was noted by Claire Gushea, Maddie Hough, Norma Kemlein, Madi Vance, Avril Ferry, Ariel Rouzer, Alexa Pagano, Grace McEvoy, Payton Macfie and McKaela Xirouchakis.
The JV team continued their winning ways by beating a tough Sussex/Wantage team 2-0. Joie McQuade was awesome in the goal making some nice saves and securing the shut-out. Scoring for the Lady Bulldogs were Alexa Pagano and Leah Langenbach. Alexa had the first goal off a nice pass from Victoria Burns and Leah's goal was also assisted by Vicky. Lilly Emma, Addison Yanoff, Lani Bello, Sofia Rizzo, Leila Hatzinas, Savanna Laver and Ava Kithcart all played very well today. The JV players have all improved so much and we are sure they will be ready for Varsity next year.

In JV Field Hockey action, the Lady Bulldogs played their best game of the season so far and beat Franklin 3-0. The offense made one beautiful pass after another and it paid off. The first goal came off a beautiful cross from Sofia Rizzo to Alexa Pagano. Alexa was in the perfect position on the post to make the deflection into the corner of the goal. The pass and shot was absolutely textbook !! The second goal came the 3rd quarter when Sofia made another beautiful pass to Leigha Langenbach who fired it past the goalie. The third goal was absolutely gorgeous with Sofia Rizzo dribbling the ball the entire half of the field and dodging several defenders and then firing it home in the corner of the goal.
