In boys varsity basketball action, Frankford used a strong second half run to beat Ogdensburg 37-32. Pierluca Ferdinand scored 15 points to lead the Bulldogs. Nick Civitan had three huge 3s in the second half. Civitan finished with 11 points. Matt Sprung chipped in with 7 points and Tyler Emma had 4 points. The Bulldogs played a great defensive game. The win ups the Bulldogs record to 5 wins and 2 losses.
On a stormy January night, the JV boys basketball team traveled to Ogdensburg and came away with an 18 - 9 victory. Michael Sauers led the Bulldogs with 8 points. Also scoring for Frankford were Ethan Sprung (5 points), Hatib Khan (2 points), Robert Schilling (2 points), and Jason Martinez (1 point). Thomas Jaust and DJ Martin played great defense to help secure the win. The JV record is now 5 wins and 2 losses.



Cookie Dough orders are scheduled to arrive Tuesday, January 17th. Once they have arrived, we will send out a reminder blast so you can pick them up at the middle school entrance after school until 4pm.

Pierluca Ferdinand and Matt Sprung each scored 10 points but it wasn't enough as the Frankford boys varsity basketball team lost a hard-fought game to Kittatinny 46 - 31. The Bulldogs took a 25 - 24 lead late in the third quarter but ran out of gas against a very physical Kittatinny team. Tyler Emma chipped in with 7 points while Nick Civitan played a great defensive game.The loss drops Frankford's record to 4 wins and 2 losses with both losses coming to Kittatinny. The Bulldogs look to bounce back on Thursday as they travel to Ogdensburg.
The boys JV basketball team lost to Kittatinny 24-9. Ethan Sprung scored 5 points, Michael Sauers scored 2 points, and Nicholas Fleischer scored 2 points. The Bulldogs hit the road tomorrow to play Ogdensburg.

The girls varsity basketball team lost to Kittatinny 25-13. The girls were led by Ashley Schell (5pts.), Alexis Edelman (4pts.), Natalia Thornton (2pts.), and Juliette Matti (2pts.).
The girls JV basketball team lost to Kittatinny on Wednesday night 12-6. Lily Emma scored 2 points. Madi Vance scored 2 points. Paige Birchenough scored 1 point on a foul shot.
Our next game is tomorrow 1/12/23 at home against Ogdensburg.
The girls varsity basketball played great defense and beat Franklin 25-6. The girls were led by Addison Yanoff (8pts.), Juliette Matti (5pts.), Alexis Edelman (4pts.), Ashely Schell (4pts.), and Natalia Thornton (2pts.).
The JV girls basketball team beat Franklin 14-0 Thursday evening. Paige Birchenough started the game with a quick 2 points. Skye Silverthorne and Aniyah Bess each scored 2 points for the team. Lily Emma and Caitlin Miller each scored 4 points for the team. The whole team played strong defense and persevered with shots from under the basket. Our next game is Wednesday January 11th at Kittatinny.

The 4th Graders got to be paleontologists for the day. They had to excavate chocolate chips (fossils) out of a cookie (Earth’s crust).

Mountain Creek is closing today and Wednesday due to the rainy forecast so we will NOT have Ski Club today 1/3. We will make up this trip by adding another Tuesday.

Lukas Guida chipped in with 4 points and Jacob Lubchansky scored his first varsity basket of the season. The boys head into the holiday break with a record of 2 wins and 1 loss.
Mike Sauers scored 20 points to lead the JV Frankford Bulldogs to a 40-1 victory over Hamburg. DJ Martin scored 6 points while Robert Schilling, Ethan Sprung, and Evan George each scored 4 points.

The girls varsity basketball team beat Hamburg 44-4. The girls were led by Addison Yanoff (12pts.), Juliette Matti (10pts.), Alexis Edelman (6pts.), Natalia Thornton (4pts.), Ashley Schell (4pts.), Adrianna Nielson (4pts.), Siona Fredericks (2pts.) and Lily Emma (2pts.).
The girls JV basketball team beat Hamburg 28-2 at home on Thursday night. Skye Silverthorne led the team with 10 points, followed by Adrianna Nielsen with 8 points, Madi Vance with 6 points, Paige Birchenough with 2 points, and Lily Emma with 2 points. We return from Winter Break to a Home game against Franklin on January 5th.
The JV Boys basketball team lost a tough game to Sussex Wantage by a score of 27-16. The Bulldogs showed great effort and battled until the final buzzer. Scoring for Frankford were Michael Sauers (6 points), Jason Martinez (4 points), Robert Schilling (4 points), and Ethan Sprung (2 points). A special thank you to Alexis Dippel and Natalie Faber who did a great job with their first game in charge of the scoreboard.

The girls varsity basketball team beat Sussex-Wantage 34-9. The girls were led by Ashley Schell (12pts.), Addison Yanoff (11pts.), Natalia Thornton (9pts.), Juliette Matti (2pts.) and Alexis Edelman ( 2pts.). The whole team played great defense.
Wednesday evening, the JV girls basketball team lost to Sussex Wantage 6-5. Caitlin Miller and Paige Birchenough each scored 2 points and Aniyah Bess contributed with 1 foul shot. The team did not let up any baskets in the second half of the game. We hope to shake it off and come back strong in our game against Hamburg at home tomorrow 12/22.

Sponsored by the 5th grade and supported by our entire school community, this year’s donation to Sussex County Family Promise included 36 winter coats, 40 hats, 50 pairs of gloves, and 237 pairs of socks!

The girls JV basketball team beat Charter Monday evening 12-0 in the JV game. Paige Birchenough led the team with 8 points and Caitlin Miller scored 4 points. Lily Emma assisted with strong defense up top. Jayden Vaughan, Skye Silverthorne, and Adrianna Nielsen provided great teamwork on offense and defense. Our next game is away, Wednesday, at Sussex Wantage.
