It's been a musical two weeks at Frankford! Last Tuesday was the 5th Grade Spring Concert, alongside the Art Show. Then, last night, we held the 6th-8th Grade Spring Concert! This featured the Frankfortonix, Jazz Band, Concert Band and Concert Chorus. It truly was a magical night. Thank you for your continued support of the arts at FTS!

Come see the Slightly Off Broad-Street Players perform Disney's "Beauty and the Beast, Jr" tomorrow, Friday 5/2 and Saturday, 5/3, both at 7:00pm! Doors to the auditorium open at 6:30pm, with tickets being sold at the door. The cast and crew have been working very hard, so thank you for supporting them!

Join us at the Frankford Car/Vehicle show fundraiser in the Frankford Middle School parking lot on May 16th from 4:30-8:00. Cool vehicles, food, music, and a fun community event. Enter your car, motorcycle, or other creative contraption. The show categories to be voted on by the attendees are Best classic, Built not bought, Modern marvels, and Students' Choice. Trophies will be awarded for the winners of each category. All proceeds from the show go to the parts and operations budget for 6 Frankford school programs. THANK YOU! To Wingle Supply for donating soil to our Frankford Greenhouse and Garden! The greenhouse has been looking extremely green thanks to our CLCS and DSP courses. A few upgrades are in the works for the greenhouse and garden. Seedling sale is almost ready to start.
The Frankford School Jazz Band just performed at the first ever High Point Jazz Fest, and earned the following awards:
-Overall Silver Rating for the band's performance
-Nick Fleischer won Outstanding Soloist for our group for his solo in Birdland
-Our saxophone section was awarded best saxophone section out of all middle school groups

The Frankford School Jazz Band is going to High Point's first ever Jazz Fest this Wednesday 4/16! We're on at 4:50, but the event starts at 4:30pm and runs until 8:30pm. Come when you like and support our band and the many other groups that will be performing that night!

Technology Club is exploring its building and repairing capabilities on many of the things that were donated by the Frankford community over the years. We are building go-carts, RC cars, drones, battle bots, generators, and updating last year's hovercraft build. Lots of independent learning going on after school at Frankford. We are always looking for battery-operated, DC, or RC stuff or technology or shop-related equipment. It all gets used here somehow and it's how this program happens.
Today, Frankford Art students, Creative Writing students, and members of the Frankford Chorus, Band and Jazz Band all went to Teen Arts at SCCC! They spent the day putting their talents on display as well as participating in workshops and activities. Way to represent the school, Bulldogs!

This is Mr. Sylvester. The Frankford Township School District will be operating on a 90 minute delay on Friday, January 31st 2025 due to the potential for icy and dangerous road conditions. Students should arrive to school at 10am to start the school day.
