This was a big week for the FTS Music Department! First, last night was the fabulous Middle School Winter Concert! The students' talent was on full display, featuring songs performed by the Frankfortonix, Jazz Band, Concert Chorus and Concert Band.
Then, today the Concert Band and Chorus went to ShopRite of Sparta and played their Winter Concert one more time before Winter Break. Thank you to ShopRite for hosting us, and to everyone who came out to see the two performances!

Bulldog Repair Club students are sporting their new CRC hats and stickers while using all the products that they recently donated. Thank you again @CRCindustriesNZ. The kids love their hats, and all the products are getting put to good use, teaching skills these kids will use for a lifetime.

THANKYOU! To CRC Industries for their extremely generous donation of cases of material for our Tech Ed department and Repair Club! I emailed them asking if they had any grants we could apply for to help with schools that need materials, and they just said, What do you need? We'll send it right over. Two weeks later, we have years of material to repair just about anything, a brand new benchtop parts washer, and enough washing fluid to tune up half the small engines in the county. We are EXTREMELY grateful that there are some great businesses out there that want to see students with the materials they need to learn practical skills. We will get a bunch of photos of the kids using their new materials with their hats and stickers at our next big meeting. THANK YOU, CRC!

Bulldog Repair has a few important announcements. Believe it or not, we're just about out of repair projects. Bulldog Repair Club has about 20 students now, and they are all eager to fix just about anything. Contact Mr Reinertsen and drop off your repair project at the school, and we will get our crew right on fixing it at our Wednesday and Thursday meetings.
We're also looking for some tools. Do you have some old screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, pry bars, pliers, or other tools lying around we can clean up and use here? We have some tools that have been working great, but we don't have tools for 20 kids. We had an awesome toolbox donated that has been serving as the repair club's tool organization. Now, we're looking to fill it up with their tools. Bring them by the office, and we will get them in the student tool box for our Bulldog Repair Students.
And last. We are selling Christmas ornaments and gingerbread house kits for your holiday decorating. Check out our displays in the offices, or call in an order for pickup if you have something special you are looking for. Items range from $3 to $10, and all proceeds go directly to our materials account for the students. Pick up yours while they last.

Good Evening FTS Families,
Due to the anticipated inclement weather that is expected to develop in the early morning hours and continue through the afternoon, school will be closed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Please stay safe and warm.
Sincerely,

We have been taking down playbills for a few weeks now. Here are the musicals that are still up. Can you guess which one of these musicals will be our Spring musical? Keep watching for the final reveal!

Wow. Bulldog Repair has probably tripled in size in about a week, both in the number of students in the room and the number of projects coming in to be repaired. We're happy to start opening our repair services up to the community to help our students learn practical skills and hopefully help you out, too. Remember, this club runs in a small business format on donations to the Technology Department. It's the only way we can afford the parts and materials we use to run this group. In our two short weeks in existence (about 5 meetings), we have 50 items on the repair list, 22 are already complete and delivered, but 10 of those 50 were not brought into the shop for the kids to start yet—amazing job by everyone participating. See you at the next meeting.
Repaired so far: Machined delrin bushings for a standing desk, fixed another standing desk, several pencil sharpeners, modified mounting blocks for a CNC machine, a rolling desk chair, hot glue gun, Van De Graaf Generator, 3D printed Hockey Pucks, 3D printed bow serving repair tool, Laser Cut Puzzles, 3D modeled acme screw pillow blocks, Custom cut vinyl stickers, laser cut refrigerator magnets, PE lacross sticks, headphones, RC electronic speed controllers, a piano bench, and a desk drawer.
Remember, these are 5-8th graders. Some of whom have never repaired anything in their lives. Nice work!

Day one of Bulldog Repair was amazing! Our students picked up items from all over the building, finished and delivered 4 on day one! We diagnosed a Van De Graaf Machine, fixed a desk, an industrial stapler, a hot glue gun, started two 3D prints for parts, started work on a piano bench, some custom machined bushings, and another pencil sharpener. Thank you all for your support in getting this program off the ground. It seems like a hit so far, both with our staff whose stuff is getting fixed and the students who are very excited to be tinkering with it. Day two tomorrow.

On Friday night, Frankford students joined with students from Sussex Middle School and High Point for High Point's Youth Night! Frankford band students were in the stands playing along with the Marching Wildcats and got a front row view of their field show. Thank you to High Point Bands for hosting us that night, and to the High Point Band Parent Association for the snacks and hospitality!

5th Grade ADVEX fought hard against each other and students from the Technology Club. All created custom-made battle bots which fought to knock each other off the work tables today in our epic battle that may have included spotlights, loud music, and some cheering. Great job on some great builds!
