Congratulations to Holden Bosma who set two more Frankford track and field records this week! Holden will leave FTS with three school records in the: high jump, 400 meter run, and 1600m (1 mile) run. Great job Holden and best of luck in high school!
The Frankford Track and Field Team competed in Day 1 of the Sussex County Track and Field Championships which consisted of shot put, discus, long jump, and high jump. At the county championships, the top 6 finishers in each event score points. After 4 hours of competition, the results are in:
Boys Field:
Tying a school record and finishing 3rd in high jump was Holden Bosma. Holden cleared 5 feet and 4 inches to add another record to his resume. Congratulations!!! Holden also finished 4th in long jump.
Turner Sansone placed 6th in high jump.
Girls Field:
Elle Changaris scored a combined 16 points for the Bulldogs by finishing 4th in long jump, 4th in high jump and 2nd in shot put.
Lily Grisales placed 5th in high jump.
The Bulldogs will hit the track tomorrow for the running events to end the track and field season!

The Frankford Track and Field team competed in a quad meet on Tuesday against Kittatinny, Newton, and Lafayette. Times and distances were recorded, but there was no scoring. This was our last regular season meet, and we will be competing in the Sussex County Championships next week! Come out to Wallkill Valley High School on Tuesday and Wednesday to see the Bulldogs take on the best in the county!
***A special congratulations to Holden Bosma who broke a 23 year old Frankford School record in the 400 meter!!! The previous record time was 59.65, and Holden ran a 59.60 on Tuesday!

The boys results were: Frankford 71 points, Ogdensburg 29 points, and Lafayette 10 points.

On Wednesday, the Frankford Track and Field team competed in a quad meet against Sparta, Andover and Montague. The Bulldogs performed very well in all running, throwing, and jumping events. The results that have been made official are:

The FTS Jazz Band made their debut festival performance tonight at Sparta High School's Jazz Fest! The kids did an amazing job, playing at an incredible level and earning the following awards:

2024/2025 Preschool Registration
Please call Victoria Armstrong at 973-948-3727 extension 206 no later than Monday, May 6th to make an appointment for registration. In-person registration will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. You will receive an email confirming your child’s in-person registration appointment with our Preschool teachers. Please bring all necessary registration documents to your registration appointment. We have a limited number of seats available and may have to use a lottery system for selection. Registration does not guarantee a seat for the 24-25 school year.
Any incoming Preschool student must be four years of age on or before October 1, 2024. The parent or guardian must furnish the child’s birth certificate, proof of residency in Frankford Township or the Borough of Branchville, and an updated immunization record. The school requires a complete physical examination, done by the child’s physician, prior to the first day of school.
We offer two Preschool sessions -- 8:30am to 11:00am; or 12:15pm to 2:45pm; meeting 5 days per week, 2 ½ hours per session. Transportation will not be provided.
The fee will be $3,750 for the school year payable to Frankford Township School in monthly installments of $375 each for a term of 10 months. Installment payments must be made in advance no later than the first of the month. Payment can be made in cash or by personal check.

Frankford School's students showed their passion for the arts and represented the school proudly at Teen Arts today! 7th and 8th grade students from Creative Writing, Art, the production of Annie Jr, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Chorus went to present their work, whether it was a live performance of music, spoken word, or in an art gallery! Students received critique on their work and advice on how to grow in their chosen arts.
