    A Glance Ahead

    Week of: 11-11-19

     

     

    • We have begun our unit on MULTIPLICATION. Facts should be studied every night for at least 10 minutes.  Use multiplication.com for review.  Timed weekly assessments will be given.  These will be unannounced, so always be prepared! We have learned the facts of 0-5,&10
    • Keep using Reflex Math to keep on addition and subtraction facts. 
    • Read-A-Thon begins this week.  We will take time each day beginning on 11/14 for some quiet reading in class.  Please make sure your child has a book to read and that you have signed up online. 
    • Our class will be browsing the book fair on 11/21.You can send in money to purchase books on Friday 11/25 (or anytime the book fair is open).  
    • Conferences are 11/22 in the afternoon & 11/25 and 11/26 at night. Sign ups will be completed online once the office opens the portal. 
    • Thank you for sending in your book orders for our class book.  Just to be clear...the book is comprised of individual pages for EACH child. Each student did not make his/her own book. If that changes your mind about ordering, just email me.  I'm sending in all orders on Tuesday 11/12.

    Spelling HW – hand in on Wednesday morning

    FLUENCY – read passage and record time/parent should initial

    Spelling HW – hand in on Thursday morning

    FLUENCY – read passage, record time, answer comprehension questions…..parent should initial

    Study for spelling test tomorrow. 

    Fluency record sheet and all comprehension questions should be turned in TODAY!
