Degrees and Certifications:
Welcome to my page, my name is Mrs. Gardner!
This is my seventh year teaching at Frankford, and my ninth year as a teacher. I absolutely love being a teacher, but I especially love FTS and grade 3! I’m so very lucky to be teaching here with the wonderful staff and students. I went to Manhattan College, and I studied Special Education and Elementary Education with minors in math and psychology. I am certified to teach elementary school, special education, and mathematics. I have my master's degree in Digital and Instructional Media from Wilkes University.
I grew up right over the river in Dingmans Ferry, and attended Delaware Valley High School. My first year of teaching was in Hawaii, on the island of Molokai. We moved back to New Jersey, then later bought our home in PA. Now I live in Dingmans Ferry, with my husband, our son Caleb (he just turned 5!), our daughter Penelope (2 years!), and our puppy Pono! I like to bake, run, do yoga, go to the waterfalls and river, hike, watch Netflix, and eat macaroni and cheese!
I am very excited for this upcoming year, we have a wonderful class. While I know there is plenty of work to do, I still love to have fun! I’m looking forward to every second of it!
