Degrees and Certifications:
Member of the Frankford Board of Education since April 2019.
Jodi was raised in Frankford and then like many set out to explore other areas of the US and the world. She went to college in Alabama, and worked in New York City, Morristown, and Baltimore and attended language school in Spain. She enjoys working in business and has built her career in hotel management based on experience, hard-work, and talent in this field. She’s been with Hyatt Hotels Corp for 13 years and oversees $70 million dollars in sales revenue for the company annually. She and her husband and their two children moved back to Frankford because she’s drawn to the area – it’s small town feel and how this rural yet growing area is valued by the community. She places a strong personal focus on diversity, inclusion, and understanding of others. She wants a world where a seat at the table means a voice at the table too, and where concerns, ideas, and values of everyone are heard, respected, and welcomed. Jodi believes in NJ public education, safety for our kids, a loving environment and a place where they can grow and develop grit needed for our challenging and exciting world.
Jodi is proud of who she is as a self-starter and thrives on the energy of people. She’s highly regarded as a mentor at her company and enjoys bringing her leadership qualities and perspective to the Frankford Twp Board of Education. She respects a board member’s role as one of over-sight for the “good thing going we have here in Frankford”.
In her personal time, Jodi loves to go to the gym, practice yoga, work outside in the yard, and to travel everywhere! One of her favorite life goals is to travel to a new place at least once a year. She now attends Sussex County Community College and is pursuing a degree that can lead her to a second career in social services. She hopes to one day counsel and support at-risk women.
