Mrs. Micky Perez
Member of the Frankford Board of Education since January 2015.
Micky and her husband Dan have resided in Frankford since 2009. Their three children have all enjoyed a fantastic education in the Frankford Township School with the oldest having just entered her freshman year at college, a sophomore at High Point, and a seventh grader here at
After completing her education in hotel management in Germany, Micky spent a few years traveling and working throughout Europe until settling in New Jersey in 1993. She was employed by Lufthansa and United Airlines for almost 10 years supervising almost 1,000 Newark-based flight attendants.
Shortly after leaving United Airlines and welcoming her third child, Micky started Mickysangels, a spiritual grief counseling, meditation and mediumship practice in Branchville. Volunteering has always been an integral part of Micky’s life. She has worked with Habitat for Humanity in Newark, assisted in building the greenhouse, and raised money for many organizations. Being a member of the Board of Education has been a natural extension of her
civic duty and desire to give back to her community.
In this challenging fiscal environment, Micky is proud of the work the Board and administration have done responding to state budget reductions while maintaining a first-class education for Frankford and Branchville’s future global citizens. She looks forward to continuing her service on the Board.
In her free time, Micky enjoys hiking with her family, gardening, traveling and exploring new places, reading books with the book club she founded, and meeting new people. She is also a part-time student at SCCC pursuing her education in psychology.
