INTRODUCING THE MINERS YOUTH TRAVEL BASEBALL PROGRAM
DEVELOPING TODAY’S PLAYERS TO BECOME TOMORROW’S STARS
The Sussex County Miners are pleased to announce the inception of the Miners Travel Baseball program. Under the direction and guidance of former New York Mets pitcher and current Miners manager Bobby Jones, players will develop critical skills to further their development while also being exposed to professional training. Tryouts for these travel teams is intended for players of all skill levels from ages 8 through 14.
MISSION
Players in the Miners Travel Baseball program will be educated in:
- Sportsmanship
- Character
- Skill
- Knowledge
AGES: Players of all skill levels from ages 8–14
TRYOUTS: Will take place at the Field House at Sparta (115 Sparta Avenue #1, Sparta, NJ 07871)
Monday, February 19, 2018: 10:00 AM–2:00 PM
10 AM–12 PM: 8–10 year olds
12 PM–2 PM: 11–14 year olds
Wednesday, February 21, 2018: 4:30 PM–6:00 PM
4:30–5:15 PM: 8–10 year olds
5:00–6:00 PM: 11–14 year olds
All players should bring their own gear and be ready to play.
FEE: $20 tryout fee per registrant
